Jason Brumitt, PT, PhD, ATC, CSCS

Teaches courses within the Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (t-DPT), Transitional Occupational Therapy Doctorate (t-OTD), Doctor of Science in Movement Sciences (DScMvt), and PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences (PhD Rehab) degree programs.

Biography

Dr. Jason Brumitt holds a PhD in orthopedic and sports science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, a Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Pacific University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern Oregon State College. His clinical background is orthopedic and sports physical therapy, however, he has also provided therapy services in acute and skilled nursing settings.

Dr Brumitt’s primary area of research is injury epidemiology in collegiate athletes. His primary areas of research are injury epidemiology in collegiate athletes and blood flow restriction training. Dr. Brumitt is the author of numerus research publications, text books and text book chapters.
