This course is a part of the online program of PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences. The PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences curriculum, focuses on the study of the effects of disability, functional limitations, and impairments on human functional performance.
This course explores the various assistive technologies that are used in rehabilitation. The course will also focus on functional movement for the patient with a disability and/or limitation as it relates to rehabilitation science. Evidence based practice will be explored to discover interventions that will effectively increase the functional capacity of the patient.
REB 7401 Rehabilitation Science and Disability is part of the ‘ESSENTIAL‘ course component within the PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences program.
