This course is a part of the online program in the Transitional Occupational Therapy Doctorate (t-OTD). The t-OTD is the post-professional degree for the licensed occupational therapist. It is the goal of the online program to prepare graduates with evidence-based practice methods that will advance the profession of occupational therapy.
The course focuses on the evaluation of clinical theories from an evidence base practice perceptive. Various systematic analyses of major practice theories will be discussed. The course will examine contrasting perceptions of the various conceptual and theoretical frameworks. Current concepts in occupational therapy will also be analyzed.
TOT 7102 Clinical Theory Analysis is part of the ‘CORE‘ course component within the Occupational Therapy program.
